The new gallery forms the fifth new building that the firm has worked on at Roche Court. The site, previously an agricultural outhouse, is set back slightly from the main Roche group of buildings. A small cottage adjacent to the site was refurbished several years ago by the firm and this has been incorporated into the new project. Much of the detailing from the original cottage refurb has been carried through to the new building which smooths the transition between the spaces.

The new building is on three main levels to fit into the site and since only one storey the roof construction is on show and simply painted white. Floors are oak and large steel pivot windows are painted matt red.
